♦ MITSUBISHI Chip Keys
RECOGNITION & APPLICATION
If only one key is available, or if keys need to be originated when all keys are lost, the car must be connected to our
programming equipment.
Chip cloning technology may be employed for the various Mitsubishi chip keys, however we consider this to be a second choice option.
The Raider is a Dodge Dakota in disguise, and Dodge programming applies.
Beginnig in 2006, several cars use a key with an integrated remote in the key. With these cars, a non-remote key
can be programmed instead of the more expensive remote type. Many later Mitsubishi models may use proximity
fobs instead of bladed transponder keys.
We are able to duplicate and originate virtually all Mitsubishi chip keys.
The following Mitsubishi models are equipped standard with transponder keys:
DUPLICATION & ORIGINATION
To add or originate keys to all 2000 and 2001 Mitsubishi vehicles, the car must be connected to
diagostic equipment and all existing keys need to be present. With 2002+ vehicles, additional
keys may be added using a simple on-board procedure, as long as the user has two existing programmed keys.
